About Linda & AndyWhen you are buying or selling property in today's real estate market, it's important to have confidence in your real estate professional. My commitment as your local REALTOR is to provide you with the specialized real estate service you deserve. I am a native Southern Californian. My husband "Andy" and I are both "Telephone Company ", retirees as well as Realtors. We have four grown children and three grandchildren. Some of our other interests are sewing, gardening, flying, amateur radio, fishing, biking and boating. We became interested in the real estate business while selling my fathers real estate properties. By the time the house was sold I had done more research on comparable properties and the neighborhood than the realtor had. Plus I set a higher selling price than the realtor suggested and got it. I became so interested and involved with this transaction that Andy suggested that I get a real estate license and help others with their property needs. I got my license and went to work for one of the local independent firms in the Carlsbad/Oceanside area. While there I was rookie of the year and earned my EPro designation. After a couple of years, I began wondering how the Big Companies operated and went to work for one of the large franchises. While the job is basically the same the pressure to produce and the competition is several levels higher. In these organizations you are paying several types of fees to work for them. You get the name recognition, but it comes at a price. After a few months, I was given the opportunity to become an office manager for the firm. Managing an office of about thirty real estate sales agents and their problems is a great learning experience. I managed the office for three years during which time I earned my Real Estate Brokers license, an ASP designation (home staging), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and a Brian Buffini Mentor Certificate. Andy and I had often discussed the idea of opening our own firm and using our experience and knowledge for the benefit of Our Own Clients. In the early months of 2008, we received the impetuous we needed when the office I was managing was merged with another one. We decided to start our own firm, Coastal Inland Properties Inc. was established in July of 2008. We committed to the idea of providing the highest level of service to our clients and an attractive commission structure to our agents. We believe that our agents are here to guide and assist the clients through whatever real estate transaction they would like. Our reputation depends on a satisfied client when the deal is completed and our reputation is what brings us referral business. We are honest with our clients and support what we tell them with facts. We believe in keeping our clients informed, even if nothing appears to be happening. When you are an informed buyer or seller, you'll make the best decisions for the most important purchase or sale in your lifetime. That's why my goal is to keep you informed on trends in the marketplace using the latest statistics in your local area. With today's uncertain real estate market you need the assistance of a professional to guide you through your transaction. If you are a Seller, you are entering a very competitive market. Realistic pricing and market exposure are more important than ever. If you are a Buyer, you should be pre-qualified for a loan amount and have an understanding of bank foreclosures, short sales and real estate contracts. Mistakes with these can cost you thousands of dollars.
